This careful refurbishment aims to enhance the spatial qualities of Palazzo Calderoni, a distinguished 19th-century building located near the Teatro alla Scala. The building suffered significant damage from wartime bombing, particularly affecting its facades designed by Giuseppe Sommaruga, a prominent architect of the Milanese Liberty style. The presence of a courtyard, characteristic of the historical urban fabric, prompted the emphasis on this central void as the primary architectural feature.
