The project for Piazza Castello, by invitation from Triennale, proposes an expansion of the pedestrian area around the monument, enhancing the tree-lined colonnade and defining the open space. The proposal resonates with a distinctive Milanese urban project by G. Piermarini in the 1700s, which established a tree infrastructure featuring monumental yet specific green halls and colonnaded spaces. The project views the landscape as a cohesive element, comprising deliberate interventions that define spaces based on their materiality and form, thereby creating diverse atmospheres and conditions for a new public space. The proposal is a collaboration with PioveneFabi.
