Designed in collaboration with Caruso St. John Architects, the expansion and restoration of the Diocesan Museum represent a significant opportunity to reconnect the complex of Sant’Eustorgio with the surrounding spaces of the city. While the facades within the cloisters are elegant and possess a public character, the external facades, once obscured by adjacent buildings, now stand silent. The project proposes a compact building with expressive energy that aims to reverse this characteristic of introversion, thereby becoming a new focal point of the park.
