The project aims to redevelop the spaces of the Cavallerizza Reale in Turin. In collaboration with Caruso St John Architects, this transformation seeks to preserve the site’s existing character as much as possible. The goal is to transform what currently appears old and abandoned into facades, grand halls, gardens, all full of potential for the future.

Additionally, a series of “primary structures” work on different scales to mark crucial positions within the campus. They frame and delineate the thresholds between the city and the campus, as well as between the interior and exterior. These structures also provide shelter and facilitate the integration of new functions into existing structures. We think of them as open architectures that frame the narrative in Giotto’s paintings, creating spaces and regulating atmospheres so that life can be lived.
