The refurbishment and extension of Palace Hotel in Place Rogier, in the heart of Brussels, represents an opportunity to explore contemporary definitions of analogy and continuity. These were the key concepts that guided the proposal for the new building. The addition, designed in collaboration with PioveneFabi, interacts with the character of the existing building by incorporating blue stone to create a substantial volume that echoes the refinement of traditional Brussels architecture.
